Make Calls From Google Voice App For iPhone :

Unknown

The easiest way to place a call that displays your Google Voice phone number is by tapping the Quick Dial tab and selecting one of your favorites or a recent call.

Make a call:

  1. Open Google Voice on iPhone.
  2. Touch the Dialer tab.
  3. Enter any phone number (1-xxx-xxx-xxxx for US numbers and +cc xxxxxx for international numbers) and touch Call.

Check the credit balance in your Google Voice account:

  1. Open Google Voice on your iPhone.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Select Balance.
For all calls that are not free, you should hear a message notifying you of the call rate. If you don't hear the message, your call is not going through Google Voice and your call may be subject to your carrier's rates.

Download Google Voice On App Store :

Unknown

I have used this app on my iPod for a few years now, and I am thankful for the app and use it frequently, mainly to send and receive texts, yet there are some features missing that would otherwise make it much more enjoyable to use.
The first and most frustrating issue I have with the current version of the app is that it does not display a time stamp with the date. I appreciate seeing a date, but it drives me crazy not seeing the time of day of each text as well. The other Google app for Hangouts does a good job of this.
The second issue is not being able to change the notification sound. It would be very nice to customize it in my iPod settings, and even after linking my contact list with the app, having each person's individual notification sound carry over.
The third issue is having so many "threads," if you will, open for each person. I prefer to keep my texts incase I need to refer back to something, instead of deleting them straight away. So, I think I would prefer if each person were their own thread, and messages could be deleted individually, within. All the texts between that contact and me would be under that single thread, under the contact's name, and perhaps the texts could be separated by day (with the date given), and each text could have a time stamp with it, along with the option to star the message.........
